Josephine, also known as Pheenie, was left behind when her owner was deported, leaving her alone and vulnerable. She sought shelter behind a shipping container in a scrapyard, enduring harsh weather conditions with minimal protection. For the next nine years, she relied solely on scraps and leftovers given to her by kind-hearted locals. Despite their help, Josephine’s fate was inevitable, and it eventually caught up with her.
Pheenie’s health had significantly declined during her senior years due to prolonged neglect and stress. Her right eye was lost as a result of a truck accident, and she had also contracted a spinal cord infection. Furthermore, her dental health was suboptimal, and she was dealing with a urinary tract infection and painful breast tumors.
This awful movie chronicles the journey of volunteers from Hope For Paws as they endaor to rescue Pheenie from her solitary life. Despite facing numerous challenges along the way, Pheenie eventually realized that help had finally arrived, even in her advanced age. Her joy at being saved was palpable as she gratefully hugged her rescuers, a look of defeat etched on her face.
Pheenie was placed in a foster program that catered to her medical needs permanently. She lived a happy, comfortable, and carefree life on a large farm for five months until she passed away due to old age. Despite her previous life of hardships and isolation, Pheenie received an abundance of love during her final days. May she rest in peace.
The story is about a family that owns an exceptionally large dog. It all began in their yard, which was located in a high-rise building. A group of aggressive dogs attacked their shepherd, leaving her unable to defend herself.
However, the husband of this woman showed no fear as he stood up to defend the sheepdog. With a board in hand, he courageously fought off the intimidating pack of barking mutts. Once the shepherd was rescued, a little girl ran up to hug the massive dog and exclaimed, “Dolph!” This is how the street dog got its name and eventually found a loving family to call its own. The man who saved the tall, kind, and shaggy dog couldn’t bear to leave him on the streets any longer, so he scooped him up and took him to the vet clinic.
When we checked the dog, we found out that he was in good health. The only issue was that he needed to be fed properly. We took him to the dacha and Dolph was overjoyed as he ran around the spacious yard. He’s an important part of the family and goes on trips with them all over the country. His favorite activity is fishing and he loves eating the delicious fish. However, because he has a lot of fur, his owners had to buy two robotic vacuum cleaners to clean up all the shed hair around their house.
The little one has found a dear friend in Dolph. They spend time playing and even drift off to sleep in each other’s arms. The child is so fond of Dolph that they have decided to stay with him even when they grow up.
